I probably put another two in the morning to complete the game, although admittedly I did get stuck on what turned out to be relatively simple puzzles once I got to the Repulsion Gel phase of testing. I stayed up until the game released and played for about eight hours, before I needed to get some sleep. Even knowing the lines that were about to be uttered on my second run through the first hour or so of the game I couldn't help but literally laugh out loud. The claims that the writing is shallow and predictable seem like they must have come from someone playing a different game. Steam has recorded my time spent playing Portal 2 at 18 hours, during which I beat the single player and multiplayer, and went back through the beginning of the single player since I rushed my way through and wanted to hear the optional comments by Stephen Merchant as Wheatley. Valve stated that the game was approximately twice as long in both co-op and single player modes, and that is absolutely accurate. I joined simply to refute the idiocy that is the claim that this game isn't everything any sane person expected and more. Speaking of replay value if you want an infinite amount of it get the Pc version where you can make your own test chambers single player and co-op.

Plus This game comes with Co-op campaign you can play with a buddy whitch exceeded my expectations the most challenging part of the game because you have to work together with 4 portals. It had a clever twist wraps up story great, sending weatley out in to space, awesome, Glados letting you go and the turret opera awesome! Want You gone not as amazing as Still Alive but still Awesome. And me personally think this game had the best ending to a game period. this is Valves magic at its best, The story from beginning to end. It was a game i got with the Orange Box and did not expect to like but ended up loving to death.
the game is funny as hell, the puzzles make you, think the characters are some of the best in gaming history.
